As a large metropolis with a huge population that's young, active and vibrant, there's no shortage of chances to participate in action sports in Philadelphia. There are many faculties that teach sky-diving in Philadelphia and offer chances for perfecting the art. There are also several large skate parks in Philadelphia to satisfy skaters of all abilities. The climate and geography of Philadelphia and the neighboring areas make it a perfect setting for motocross during fall, spring or summer. Many action sports in Philadelphia enjoy a large following, fostering a competitive and convivial atmosphere.

Popular and Well-Organized, Skateboarding Rules in Philadelphia

There are several large and widely known skate parks in Philadelphia. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park in Philadelphia, known to Philly natives as "The Lakes" provides a place for residents to get involved in all sorts of activities, including a large skate park under and I-95 underpass. The protected cement bowls attract skaters from amateur to Pro. "The Lakes" was built, designed and constructed by local boarders. The sweeping hills and the wild spaces near Philadelphia in both PA and New Jersey offer lots of chances for motocross enthusiasts both experienced and new. Atco Motocross Park in New Jersey is about 25 miles away from Philadelphia is a man made track that deals with newbies, with some terrain for experts and for novices. Ridership is high, so if you are organizing a trip here, make certain to plan accordingly. This track does offer some really nice features nevertheless , including an arcade, rest rooms and concession stands . For those that like more natural surroundings, Bald Eagle State Forest, about 2 hours outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania has several trails that are open to motorized vehicles that are reasonably popular among the motocross community in Philadelphia. For fans of motocross who want to catch a race, Sleepy Hollow Motocross Park hosts races from March into September.
