Training endurance is an action that can help just about anyone looking to become better fit. It's going to take some hard work, though, as they will have their limits pushed beyond reaches that they probably didn't think of before. Sports of all kinds are going to require that this is set at a minimum but going above and beyond it is going to be done. Professional wrestling fans can tell you just about every star who is best suited to perform for long stretches of time.
Prior to discussing the stars in particular, the Iron Man match deserves to be talked about. To put it simply, this bout is about as bare bones as you could imagine while testing one's physical threshold beyond all capabilities. With wrestlers commonly facing one another for an hour or even more than that, they score consecutive wins over one another during that stretch of time. The wrestler with the most pins or submissions under his or her belt is declared the victor of the match.
A match that I regard as one of my favorites, even to this day, is Bret Hart versus Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XII. During the hour, the two men faced one another in a bout that included many technical moves in addition to high-flying maneuvers. What I've noticed, more than anything else, is that they didn't seem to tire much during that time. They continually performed at high levels because they paced the action well and followed each other in order to make the bout fun to watch throughout.
Even though Hart and Michaels have proven themselves to be great stars in their heyday, what about current athletes suited for events like Spartan Race? Daniel Bryan stands as one of the names, especially if you took a moment to look at his work prior to his time in WWE. He showed that he could wrestle for hours on end and his body was helped even more thanks to a vegan lifestyle he took on for a little over two years. If anyone can teach someone about training endurance, it's him.
I think that there is a great level of work that you can associate with training endurance. As far as the actual wrestlers are concerned, you can be assured that a select few of them are going to be able to utilize the natural energy they have at their disposal. Many people don't realize that it's not about how hard you perform. Sometimes it may come down to how efficient you are at preserving your energy and taking it out during the times which suit it best.
