Baseball, Anyone?

The Philadelphia Phillies are one of the oldest teams in baseball. They have won the World Series and play their home games at Citizens Bank Park. Baseball in Philadelphia has an almost cult-like following, with the love for the team being passed down from generation to generation Players like Roy Halladay, Michael Martinez and Ryan Howard are guaranteed to give visitors nine innings of excitement.

Hitting the Ice with the Flyers

The Philly Flyers bring fast paced action on the ice. The Philadelphia Flyers are the third most popular team in the city of brotherly love and for good reason. Aggressive assertive shooting, checking, lightning fast skating, an unwillingness to back down with a history that dates back to the "Broad Street Bullies" of the '70s, give the Flyers one heck of a rep. The Flyers black and orange colors are as much a staple of the city as is its American history. The Wells Fargo Center, home of the Flyers, is the 4th largest hockey stadium in the NHL and with a massive 19,537 capacity. The games sell out so regularly that they end up using Standing Room Only. Indeed, Flyers fans enjoy the game more than just about any other franchise in hockey. The Flyers made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2010, and they're looking to do it again soon.

Making History with the 76ers

The 76ers share the Well Fargo Center stadium with the Flyers and bring furious basketball action to the big city. Blocking, passing, dribbling, shooting and scoring are a must as the 76ers are looking to get back in the NBA finals and get their first title since 1983. With famous names in history like the great Dr. J and Allen Iverson, the 76ers are a team with a rich history. Watching a game against rivals like the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, they'll give it everything they've got.

A "Union" in Philly

Soccer is the most popular international sport, and it's starting to catch on as major cities like Philadelphia get teams together. The Philadelphia Union plays for MLS and anyone who enjoys the game of "football" will enjoy watching the Union as they run up and down the pitch and pass, run and kick their way to victory. Few sports have the following all over the world as soccer, so why shouldn't soccer in Philadelphia be a part of the game?
