Due to it's prime location and climate, Miami is an excellent place to play a role in a selection of exciting activities, and there's nothing as thrilling as action sports in Miami. Get the adrenalin pumping through your blood and feel actually alive!

Skydiving in Miami

There's nothing like jumping from an aircraft, and then falling 120 miles per hour through the sky. Skydiving in Miami is among the best activities to do in Florida. On a clear day, you can see both the Atlantic and the Gulf Coasts, as well as the Florida Keys. With loads of folk skydiving each day, skydiving is probably one of the safest action sports around, believe it or disbelieve it. With a tandem jump, you have nothing to worry about as you are attached to a certified tandem instructor and they look after you. From making certain that you feel safe, to pulling the parachute cord, the tandem instructor does all the work. So what are you waiting for? Face the terror, take the challenge and skydive!

Skate Parks in Miami

There are several great skate parks in Miami, and Miami is home to some of the most gifted skaters in the country. Robbie Weir, a Miami native, was recently inducted into Florida's Skate boarding Hall of Fame. There are many skate parks to select from, with a variety of talent levels accomadated. With indoor or outdoor, newbie or expert, looking to gain new skills or to work on your current ones, skate boarding is the course of action in Miami.

Scubadiving in Miami

Underwater diving is amongst the most popular action sports in Miami. With a plethora of bodies of water, from the Atlantic Ocean, to the Gulf of Mexico, to one or two freshwater springs, streams, and lakes, Miami is a good spot to learn how to scuba. There are many five star scuba diving centers, and PADI or SSI instruction is generally available.

With all of the dive shops open, there are numerous dive boats going out daily. Dive trips to the Florida Keys, where there are tropical coral reefs and loads of reef species like colorful reef fish, octopus, manta rays, dolphins, and moray eels are very popular, and a simple choice for the beginner. Some shops operate trips out to any of the 1 or 2 ship wreck sites. Where ever you opt to dive, it is sure to be a notable experience!
